A career as a CRA?
You desire a job where you can apply your scientific degree or medical background without actually performing research yourself?
You are independent, accurate and have a high level of communicative skills?
Then a job as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry could be just the thing for you.
A CRA could be involved from phase I to phase IV clinical trials in pharmaceutical, CRO or Medical Device companies. He or she is a key figure in the performance of the trial according to ethical and quality aspects of clinical research.
In this diverse position, specific compentencies are required. You work as part of a team, but also independently while visiting study sites. In this, you have a lot of freedom when it comes to planning and performing your activities.
Daily and weekly activities are varied. Some days are spent in the office performing administrative tasks, and others are spent at hospitals or other study sites in your country or possibly abroad.
