DOCS International B.V. (hereinafter referred to as “DOCS”) has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy and summarises our policies regarding the collection, use and transfer of personal data and the security measures taken to protect your data. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for all web sites operated by DOCS.Who we are
As an international staffing company we host a number of international recruitment websites where we give individuals/candidates the option of putting their personal information and CV in our searchable database which is a significant aid to quickly finding employment. We collect personal information and process this information for clients and suppliers as part of our staffing services. DOCS has affiliates in most key European countries with whom your personal information may be shared.
An explanation follows below of what exactly happens with the personal information you provide. The privacy policy applies to all information that we collect about you, e.g. from an intake interview, from our DOCS (country) websites, or via other means of communication. This privacy policy does not apply to websites belonging to other organisations or individuals that are hyperlinked from our own websites. In other countries, different legislation and regulations apply for the collection and use of your personal information.
How we collect and use your personal information
We collect your information in different ways.
First, we collect the information that you yourself provide (for example, when you fill in information about yourself on an on-line form, send us your curriculum vitae, call/email us or approach us via other channels). In general, we use the information you provide to find a suitable position for you, to introduce you to a client, to identify your personal preferences and link them to services that are relevant for you, or for DOCS own promotional activities.
We also use your information for purposes related to your interaction with us and to the recruitment services we provide to our clients (as described above). This also includes records of any contact we may have during our services and details of reference checks, education verification and other service-related activities we may carry out.
With your consent, we (and, where applicable, our partners or other trusted third parties) use your information for marketing activities, market research, analysis and other related purposes. You decide what you will allow us to use your information for. The following are four examples of the use that might be made of your information:
- Communicating with you from time to time by e-mail and (if you provide us with the information in question via the website or by some other communication medium) by mobile phone (via SMS messages or, if your mobile telephone has this facility, via EMS or MMS messages, or similar technologies), or by post, providing you with information, special offers, newsletters that you have requested, and any other material that you might be interested in.
- Your information could be made available to trusted partners and third parties (clients) in order to find a suitable position for you or for the same purposes as described above. If these parties are established in a non-EU country where other or less stringent legislation or regulations apply for the protection of your privacy, we will inform you of this beforehand, so you will have the opportunity to permit or refuse the use of your information in this country.
- Market research. For example, we might ask you to participate in studies on current topics or certain themes being conducted internally or by trusted partners or third parties. Prior to your participation, we will always inform you of exactly how the information that you are to provide for the purpose of the study will be used.
- Facilitating the analysis of your information, either internally or by third parties acting on our behalf. The aim is not to identify you as a user, but to obtain statistical information enabling us to identify trends in the use of our sites and improve our sites.
