Programme
Module 1: Accredited Introduction to Clinical Research Training provided by the Institute of Clinical Research (ICR)
Each topic is covered theoretically and then immediately put into practice in role plays, assignments and group work. In this manner, trainees who have participated in the course are able to apply the knowledge they have gained instead of just knowing it in their heads.
Topics such as ethics committees, informed consent and clinical trial applications are given by a local trainer in each country in order to make sure that the candidates receive a European training while still understanding the specifics of their own country.

Tailor-made traineeship
We understand that not every company can implement a three month program, when their own training structure dictates differently.
Therefore, CRAcademy has developed tailor-made traineeships for clients who require a special support.
In these tailor-made traineeships the length of the traineeship or the amount of support has been matched to our client’s needs in order to match their training structure or wishes.
For example, Client A has a training structure whereby every CRA must first work in-house for 6 months before being allowed to participate in any monitoring visits. CRAcademy devised a traineeship with the length of one-year, with the in-house components as a focus of the first 6 months and the second six months the visit components are incorporated.
Another partner of CRAcademy, Client B, has taken on 4 trainees but does not have enough support within their company to help train the trainees. In this case, CRAcademy provided extra time from our Clinical Team Manager (CTM) in which a few specific components of the traineeship where explained and practiced. For example, the CTM explained how to prepare for monitoring visits and on another day went together with the trainees on a monitoring visit.
As you can see, CRAcademy has the ability to be flexible to your needs, and can adapt our services to which training needs you may have. If this of interest, please contact us.
